Though I come from a household of basketball players and hardcore Lakers fans, I chose dance as my hobby.  

As a dancer, I aspired to have perfectly pointed toes, flawless leaps and turns, and be in front of every piece. I strived for perfection and saw only one path towards my confidence.

 

It has taken time but i've finally realized that I will never be perfect. I will not know everything and will most likely not succeed the very first time. 

 

I've finally found the art in growing.

 

Dance taught me...

To take a challenge, even if it means taking longer to learn. 

To stay positive and believe in my capabilities, even if others are saying no.

To learn and be inspired by the world and community around me. 

To see beauty in failure. 

 

The lotus in my logo signifies my drive for growth as it always finds a way to bloom, even in the dirtiest waters. 

I'm now ready to take every opportunity to bring value, lift others up, and grow.
